It's been made official by Ken Rosenthal that the St. Louis Cardinals have acquired Nolan Arenado from the Colorado Rockies
MLB insider Ken Rosenthal reports that the Cardinals are in talks with the Colorado Rockies detailing a trade between the clubs for veteran All-Star third baseman Nolan Arenado.
Cardinals President John Mozeliak stated last spring that the Cardinals were close to a deal on Arenado. Still, the return package was too pitching heavy and would've put the Cardinals at a distinct disadvantage.
