There is no doubt that St. Louis is a sports city!

Since the end of 2015, the NFL and the Rams spitting in the face of fans in St. Louis, stating that the market could not support more than two major league teams. The formerly known XFL and now UFL are beginning to prove the doubters wrong.

Thanks to the fans in the market, football thrives again. The 2023 XFL season for the St. Louis Battlehawks was a precursor to what is coming for the upcoming UFL season. In 2023, the Battlehawks averaged over 30,000 fans per game during their five home games. During that span, fans were energized and showed up in force to support the team. At the end of 2023, the XFL and the USFL merged into the UFL.,

2024 is looking to be HUGE for the St. Louis Battlehawks. Early estimates for the first home game of the season have increased to nearly 40,000 in hopes of reaching over 50,000+ fans. The UFL has officially opened up more sections in the 400 ring in hopes of ultimately selling out the dome for game one at home.

This is in large part due to fan-based organizations that rallied the fanbase to a fever pitch leading up to the 2023 season, and with the success of the team nearly missing out on the XFL 2023 playoffs, it showed that St. Louis is much more than "Just a Baseball Town."

Groups like STL Battlehawks Tailgating have gathered a large following of fans and have had massive turnouts to their tailgating events at the Dome at Americas Center. Thanks to Rick Storie and many others who have helped grow fan support for the team. Rick also has an enormous influence on Mizzou's tailgating. Rick has been working in the sphere of tailgating for many, many years and is well-loved within the community.

The team at F.U.E.L is one of the biggest influences in organic fan support and growth, with shows like the X Fan Show, The Bottom Line, and B-Hawk Live. The hosts of the shows consisted of Arlington "A-Train" Lane, Dirty, Amanda, "Big Daddy" Ed, and Brett. The team at F.U.E.L. has been on top of, if not at the top of, most newsgroups reporting on the team.

Since the announcement of the return of the XFL 2.0 in 2019, Dirty, A-Train, Amanda, and Ed have been creating content, organizing fans, networking with other fan groups, and helping out at events such as Autism Speaks with a donation to the charity.

These and many other reasons are why Gateway City Sports is excited to partner with F.U.E.L. to bring you all the best coverage of the upcoming UFL season.

GCS Media Group and F.U.E.L will be at every home game and select away games for the UFL Battlehawks this season in 2024. We are currently working on several fan-involved ideas that we are excited to bring to the table this spring. With the UFL season starting March 30th, 2024, it will consist of ten games, with five at home and five away.

The St. Louis Battlehawks will be at the Battledome on 04/06, 04/20, 05/04, 05/19, 06/01 for their five games at home. The UFL announced the championship will culminate in St. Louis at the Dome on June 16th, 2024. Tickets for official single-game tickets and season ticket packages can be found on Ticketmaster.

It shows that NFL teams or other organizations can try to manipulate the masses by fabricating stories about the St. Louis fanbase, but the evidence is in the details. Fans have and continue to support the Battlehawks and will continue to do so now and into the future.

Here's to 50,000 and more!

Let's go Battlehawks!

KAKAW!
