The Blues again faced off against the Arizona Coyotes. The 4th game in a row between the two teams. They would end up dropping their third in a row to Arizona, 4-3 in Shootouts. Blues record moves to 7-4-3 with 16 points.

In the first period, things started slow. Except for Kyle Clifford, 2:41 into the game, he got into his second fight this season. Then with 6:31 to go in the first period, Blues Captain Ryan O’Reilly scored his 3rd goal of the season on the powerplay. That goal was assisted by Justin Faulk (2) and David Perron (8). The Blues did not look bad, and they looked a lot calmer compared to other first periods. In the end, the Blues outshot the Coyotes 11-10.

The Blues continued their fair play into the second period. However, the Coyotes scored twice. Once 1:48 in by Garland and then Dvorak scored with 11:36 into the period. Perron scored in between there at 8:11 in, assisted by O'Reilly (7) and Barbashev (3). The Blues outshot the Coyotes again 17-9.

Ryan O'Reilly gave the Blues a 3-2 lead 3:44 into the period, assisted by Mackenzie MacEachern. It was a well-rounded period, and the Blues were surely going to go home with 2 points. However, after a great pass, the Coyotes tied it with 0.5 seconds left. The Saint Louisan Keller scored the goal. The Blues would outshoot the Coyotes 11-4.

In overtime, the Blues had good chances. However, it is becoming more evident they're a pass-first team, which could have cost them the game. Nothing would come of the OT, and they would go to a shootout. Blues outshot the Coyotes 3-2 in OT.
