As with everything Covid-19 has thrown us all a curveball. No different with our NHL season. We would normally be a few months in to our normal season and the bars and streets of St. Louis flooded with Blues fan gear. Well we can only hope it picks back up soon. This being said there seems to be a buzz about the future of Blues Defenseman Jay Bouwmeester. As you may recall on February 11th he suffered a cardiac episode during a game against the Ducks in Anaheim. Scary moment for all. With the uncertainty of his playing status it has been brought up that the Blues could look at him in some capacity. Think Al MacInnis and his role. I believe this would be a great opportunity for J-Bo and the Blues to use his knowledge as a well seasoned veteran and help the Blues have such a great guy as a face man for maybe some of their front office work. Would be nice to see him in some capacity back with the Blues if it isn’t on the ice.
